one careful owner never been thrashed ;-)
dodgy looking surface in places.
I took a GPZ600 down bruntingthorpe airfield runway for a performance bikes article once, they wanted to see if old bikes could still hit their original test speeds.
Got radared at 142 mph which was impressive for an old nail ( it was my girlfriends)

So what you got now then Nige, if thats your old R6 ???

Sexy black GSX-R600K6. mmm! Surface was awful in parts, especially the landing lights which were raised by 8cm.

Makes me smile every time I see that clip - wheres the wheelie bit? Have you chopped it off?

That's bloody excellent, the racing/track day lark is the one thing I never did, perhaps it's time to dust off the Powervalve????

Jack, I think I read that article, did they do handling test and suchlike too?

Wheelies were taped over, so couldn't get them onto the pc from the vcr. Its taken me 2 years to get my fire wire sorted. one thing at at time!

I've got some stupid stuff on normal VCR, how do you get that to video on the pc. Got some stupid stuff of burnouts and sitiing backwards on a bike with the video....that was scary.
One clip shows a mate of mine binning it into the roudabout on the way out of Oundle, that one made a performance bikes best readers vids once, very funny.

Haven't fully sussed the VCR to pc yet. My only solution is to record from the VCR back onto the camcorder, then transfer from it to the pc. A little long winded, and I'm sure there must be a neater solution.
